Solution Approach

Eurus Technologies worked with Finzly to design and deliver a cloud-native, serverless banking platform on AWS, capable of supporting multiple banks on a shared, scalable infrastructure. Core capabilities such as payments, compliance, reporting, monitoring, and notifications were implemented as independently deployable microservices.

Serverless Compute and Workflow Orchestration

The platform used AWS Lambda as the primary compute layer to enable automatic scaling and reduce operational overhead. Payment and compliance workflows were orchestrated using AWS Step Functions, providing reliable execution, built-in retries, and full traceability across processing stages.

Multi-Tenant Architecture and Client Onboarding

A multi-tenant architecture was implemented to allow shared services while ensuring strict isolation of tenant data, configuration, and credentials. Tenant-specific resources were provisioned dynamically, enabling rapid onboarding of new banks without affecting existing clients.

Managed Data Services and Secure API Access

Managed AWS services were used to ensure performance and reliability at scale. MySQL was accessed through RDS Proxy for efficient connection management, S3 was used for secure file and report storage, and API Gateway provided a secure entry point with custom authorization.

Monitoring, Reporting, and Event-Driven Integration

Built-in monitoring and reporting services provided near real-time visibility into payment flows, system health, and exceptions. Asynchronous, event-driven integrations using SQS and EventBridge improved resilience and decoupling across services.
