At Eurus Technologies, we are strong advocates of agile practices like continuous integration and continuous delivery in IT systems development. We use tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Chef, which help us successfully build deployment pipelines that are highly efficient and fast-paced. Our implementation provides visibility into the production readiness of applications by giving feedback on every change to a system. We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps & Cloud Engineer who will be comfortable automating and maintaining cloud infrastructure. We are currently working with an Advanced Amazon Partner, where we architect redundant, resilient, scalable, self-sustaining, and self-healing infrastructures on AWS. We utilize a variety of tools (Cloudformation, Opsworks, Beanstalk, ECS, and Kubernetes) along with automation tools (Chef, Ansible, Vagrant, and Packer) under the close supervision of our DevOps specialists and their organizational discipline. The ideal candidate will have superb troubleshooting skills, a passion for automating everything, and a sense of ownership.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT / Software Engineering / Computer Science.

Qualifications (what we are looking for)

  • Candidates have to pass a basic screening TEST as a first step. So you MUST have strong academic knowledge of computer science.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience as a DevOps & Cloud Engineer.
  • Must have hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.
  • Infrastructure Automation (IaC) experience with Terraform / CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, Vanilla Kubernetes) is required.
  • CI/CD experience with Jenkins / GitLab / CircleCi, GitHub Actions.
  • Having scripting experience with Bash, Powershell, Python is required.
  • Nice to have Configuration Management experience with Ansible / Chef.
  • Proven programming background is preferred.
  • Must have strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong ability to take ownership and work independently.

Job Responsibilities (what you will do)

  • Design, implement and automate cloud infrastructures.
  • Setup application continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Create and maintain Docker images and Kubernetes configurations for deployment of software applications.
  • Create helm charts for deployment of applications on kubernetes.
  • Configuration Management of cloud infrastructures and applications.
  • Automate manual tasks through DevOps methodologies.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor, support and maintain client’s existing cloud environments.
